German School Brooklyn accepts applications for employment on an ongoing basis. We’re currently accepting applications to have on file for educators of all levels K-9 and interns. 

Ideal candidates have:

• Belief that all children can learn, but may learn differently from one another
• Ability to create dynamic, hands-on lesson plans
• Strong work ethic; ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
• Belief in the mission of GSB
• Willingness to be flexible and accept constructive feedback
• Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Education, or similar
• Training and interest in teaching in a culturally responsive manner, with particular attention to racial and gender equity
• A desire to be part of a dynamic international community
