We understand that making our campus accessible supports community diversity and that convenience is vital, especially for working families.

GSB & DoE

We provide convenient bus service for eligible students to help them easily attend GSB from all neighborhoods in the community. This transportation option ensures that every student has the opportunity to reach our school without any hassle.

To meet the higher demand for service, all buses will make set stops together; door-to-door service is not available.

Eligibility

Transportation eligibility is based on a student’s grade level, walking distance between home and school, and existing accommodations based on a medical condition, housing status, or safety assessment.

FAQs

  • Bus service follows the public school calendar. No bus services is provided on DoE holidays.

  • Pick up and drop off points are generated by the DoE to accommodate students who live in similar proximity. Bus service does not provide door-to-door service for logistical reasons.

  • Unfortunately, bus service can only be provided for regular school time. No bus service is available for students participating in our afterschool program which lasts until 5:15pm

  • We highly recommend being at the bus stop at least 5-10min prior to estimated arrival. Traffic is oftentimes unpredictable and bus drivers aren’t able to wait for late comers.
