Amy studied at Sarah Lawrence College where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with a focus on Bilingual Eduction. She has 10 years of experience working with young children in a variety of educational settings, mainly German/English schools. She has worked at the Deutsche Preschool in White Plains, in Halle/Saale, Germany at a bilingual kindergarten, and most recently, as a Head teacher at Wortspiele Preschool in Brooklyn. Although she speaks fluent German, she is a native English speaker and will be teaching the Kindergarten students in the subjects of English and Science this year. She is currently finishing up her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at Hunter College.
